Barbara Jane Lovejoy' - Hospital where she was born

This is the hospital where my Mom, Barbara Jane Lovejoy was born in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. I do not believe the hospital is still standing. Judy Van Deusen, a friend doing research for me in Elgin, found this brochure at the Elgin Library Historical Rummage sale and sent it to me.

Ben Hall's Retirement

This a newspaper article about Ben Hall's retirement from the Buffalo Evening News in 1985. Some of the things referred to in this article were new to me. I did not know which universities my Dad had taught at. I also didn't know that he had been a bandmaster and therefore, must have known how to play many musical instruments.
